“Who Wants High Priced Real Estate, Raise Your Hand.”

(Looking out over the wild blue yonder ME real estate audience. Around the blue and green revolving marble.)

Raise your hand if you want high cost real estate, a property listing that you will paying on for forty or more years. And hoist high that same arm of approval if you want to live where there is big time scary crime. Where you, your loved ones, kids and parents have to carry a taser with the safety off. To be on guard all the time and worry about your personal well being.

And if you are some kind of excited, happy about multi lanes of slow or non moving traffic every day as you race, trying to get to work by nine (BTO playing in the background).

Step forward, signal with a big “heck yes”.

Getting home to that three mortgage house late. Eating, grazing mostly at drive thrus to and from that wicked long long expensive commute. If that is pretty much your today dog and pony let the rest of us see you. Speak up and ask about there having to be another way to lead your life.

There is. Maine, the way life is supposed to be, how it use to roll in other places. Helter skelter hurried is not healthy. Not fun and you may feel locked in a boxed canyon that there is no way out of easily. Consider trading it all in. Sweep those chips you earned the hard way off the table. Push back hard. Get up and away. Relocate, retire, invest in some low cost Maine real estate. Property so inexpensive, cheaply priced you don’t have a mortgage. Don’t have to work three jobs to pay it off.

Maine is the 46th lowest for FSSR  (foreclosure, short sale, repossession) for a reason.

Add to it a gold star 4th lowest of all the states in crime statistics too. Isn’t that a better place to be to live, work and play? Where doors don’t have to be triple dead bolted, heavily chained and barred shut. Where folks, your neighbors wave, smile and are friendly. Rather than elevator like, everyone looking away, down and ignore. Not making eye contact. Strait jacketed, hemmed in a way way jammed square labratory rat like cubicle. Get the elbow room, space you need to breathe, stretch out, to relax in Maine. Leave the urban life experiment.

It’s your life and if the path you are on is not one you want, make the call, send the question filled email. Visit Maine. Maine is more than lighthouses and lobsters, baked potatoes, blueberry pie.

Sometimes rather than trying to tell you about Maine, it is way way easier to just show you what happens in the small home towns. To deliver the local community unique flavor of being in Maine. So you can compare and say gee-sh Louise. Where you are now is no where near the way life is like up here in the right hand corner of the country. Get to Maine.

Andrew Mooers

Welcome to our Maine real estate website. I am the father of four grown children, have listed, marketed, sold properties for over forty years. Lots of changes in the real estate industry over that many decades and daily we re-invent our job. I grew up on a Maine farm that I bought from by three older brothers. My youngest son continues in the tradition on that same Maine farm. Here to help with property searches for homes, farms, land, waterfront, multi housing rentals, small mom and pop business listings.
